About ATS Video Studio
ATS Video Studio is our local desktop automation application designed to streamline the publishing and scheduling of our short video content.
- Google Sheets Integration: The application connects to our internal hometown database tracking spreadsheet via the Google Sheets API to read the video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, and scheduling slots). Once processed, it updates the spreadsheet row status to “Scheduled”.
- YouTube API Integration: The application automates the upload and scheduling of compiled short videos directly to our YouTube channel, eliminating manual uploading tasks.
- Data Privacy: The application runs entirely locally. We do not use external servers to process or store your information. All API authentication credentials and tokens are stored securely on the local machine and are never shared with third parties.

At Amazing Tails Studio, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how the **ATS Video Studio** desktop application (the “Application”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you authenticate with your Google account.
1. Information Collected by the Application
The Application only accesses information that is necessary to perform its core functions (syncing spreadsheets and uploading videos to YouTube). This includes:
* **Google Sheets Data**: The Application reads spreadsheet row cells to identify video titles, descriptions, and tag information, and updates cell values to reflect publication status.
* **YouTube Account Access**: The Application uploads compiled MP4 video files and their corresponding metadata (title, description, tags, scheduling times) directly to your YouTube channel.
* **Local Token Storage**: The Application saves OAuth access and refresh tokens locally on your secure storage device (`token.json` and `token_youtube.json`) to allow automatic synchronization without requiring manual browser login prompts each run.
2. How Your Information is Used
The Application uses the accessed data solely for the following purposes:
1. To import video-making script tasks from your personal hometown database Google Sheet.
2. To upload and schedule compiled short videos directly to your designated YouTube channel.
3. To record the publication date and “Scheduled” status back into the Google Sheet.
3. Data Storage, Security, and Protection
* **Zero Server Storage**: The Application is a local python script. We do not operate external database servers, and we **do not collect, inspect, or store** your credentials, sheets data, or videos on any remote infrastructure.
* **Local Security**: All API interaction tokens (`token.json` and `token_youtube.json`) are stored strictly on your local machine. You are responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your local files.
* **Transmission Encryption**: All data transmitted between the Application, Google Sheets API, and the YouTube API is encrypted in transit using Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) via Google’s official client libraries.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
The Application **does not share, sell, lease, or distribute** your data, credentials, or video files to any third-party entities. All data flows exclusively between your local machine and your authorized Google account.
5. User Controls and Revocation
You can revoke the Application’s access to your Google Account at any time:
1. Go to the [Google Account Security Settings](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
2. Locate **ATS Studio Controller** or **ATS Desktop Uploader Client** under third-party apps.
3. Click **Remove Access**.
4. Optionally, delete the local `token.json` and `token_youtube.json` files from your workspace folder.
